"Fun will commence."
Oh little first bat of the evening--the winds are cold beneath the twilight moon.
So, the sirens went off around 4:30 this morning. Or that's when I woke up on the living room couch as usual, crashing during adult swim anime earlier. . Actually could barely hear them through the heavy rain, but some sounds still reach you. The system here is that all of them are out of sync with each other--so it makes a series of various, peculiar science fiction overlapping wails.
So up from 4:30 am to 6:30 am until it had cleared past me. So far when they show computer "rotations" a few miles west of me they've headed southeast--which fortunate for me but not for many other people.
No rest for the wicked. Orange roses in center, and yellow upper left center, and red to right, and the pots now have water plants floating in them.
World's largest carving on Stone Mountain at night. The 25th anniversary laser show is the best ever, with well integrated pyrotechnics, and tremendously new improved stereo system. It's as good--as it was bad two years ago. Deep blue mini iris blooming in new flowers beds expanding out front. I didn't mean to get my hand in there, but it was waving around and I was trying to make it stand still (I told my date--nyuk nyuk nyuk)
Another 24th birthday successfully recreated last month. Scrumptious Dino sundae.Red thing is the spoon.
La primavera a Chateau Carter. If the grammar is incorrect--bite me. It sounded good--haha.
Back at ya. Deconstructing the front yard. The future Wilaway Gardens as I banish grass--if I had any--it's all weeds. At least people aren't leaving "lawn repair" notices in the mailbox like last year. And I would have like to have told them Drought! Watering ban! There's a reason it's dead. ha.
I'd almost kill for a Coca Cola float right now--but have neither.
Secret path just behind. Now that it's been bloomed out--time for pruning and refurbishing. The 4 baby robins in the nest by office window long gone--so hope they made it somewhere
The heartbreak of diamorpha. But for pennies a day you too can make a difference. Give generously! (see my e-mail)
Let this be a lesson to you. If you're not paying attention, the Puppeteer will come down off the stage and drag you up front to be the cat. | | |

Guess I could update--haha. I've had lots of spring things blooming in my yard. Almost have planted all the shrubs and etc I loaded up on beginning February. Then on to bulbs and seeds. Except squirrels unlike times past refuse to enter my cozy traps--so seedlings may be problematic.
Shrub outside my office window has robin nest and so far they have survived--all 4 of them. I think cats may be stalking nest at night, but so far they have survived rain and cold weather.
Going to the "Cotton Pickin" Fair tomorrow. Crafts and friend pies and country music and the like.
Life ok I guess.

Ok--I actually shuffled pictures from this weekend off my cel via the
online album to my pc so as to have time relevant pix to a blog. (now
if I'd done that the weekend I saw Ron Paul's son, John McCain and Mitt
Romney).
Joe in town for his grandmother's 85 th birthday. He's giving me his "war" face.
Hartsfield has slight ant problem over baggage claim.
Another view towards the Georgia Lottery kiosk..
I was going to put Joe to work but he ran.
A little progress being made. Of course it's trying to frost next 2 nights. Weeds to right will be ripped out and all the old seeds I didn't plant due to last years drought will be dumped in there. But maybe I should kill squirrels first. Steve has squirrels at his house chewing his attic, gutters, wiring and nuts, so I was holding ladder while he worked to board up fresh holes Easter Eve dinner at Michelle's. She was in fender bender recently, but didn't get checked out at the time, probably due to being dazed.. Now has square bumps on her head. Steve said she needs CAT scan. I said she's becoming Klingon. Meal was scrumptious. Hmmmmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm. Steve dyeing his eggs. Michelle pulling egg out from behind Steve's ear. Actually it spells Joseph. I was txting pix to him of everything I was doing while he was in town, albeit 90 minutes to the east of me. And while dyeing, we played with kitties and watched the latter part of The Ten Commandments--which has some funny dialogue if you pay attention to what they're saying and doing.

Happy Easter/Spring Equinox/Full Moon everyone. Weather's been behaving so I've been planting--azaleas, forsythia, various multicolored flowered ground covers, chicks and hens, and etc. Making pathways and trails. Maybe I'll charge admission soon--haha.
Tired. Watching adult swim. Brutal.

Happy Irish Day! How is everyone?
This past weekend I
just had rain here, no hail or wind. As bad as it was, downtown could
have been worse. If they hadn't been in overtime at the dome, all those
people would have been on the street when it happened. And I was
driving yesterday--I noticed all the construction cranes and the tall
radio towers---if those had fallen really would have been bad.
And Savannah which has huge St Patrick's Day festivities was blacked out Saturday night--150,000 people at one time.
I bought ton of shrubs and plants at Lowe's and Home Depot--still planting those. Joseph de Fresnot breezing through airport Friday I think--maybe get to see him for a few minutes as he and brothers head to his grandmother's 85th celebration.
I feel wimpy not making it to MomoCon, but I didn't trust weather or roads and subway. And worked on yard yesterday. Worked in garden center for 4 years and lived in apartment in Indiana, now I have a yard but no discounts. Oh well. I gave up when drought was in full swing last June--hopefully rains will continue. At least I don't have to shower with pots and pans any more to water outside with. Pix sometime.
Willen go bra!
Haha
Maybe I'll keep the daily small post thing going.
